
Today is my second day of doing a morning meditation/quiet time.
Kevin was out running and the kids were still asleep.
Sometimes sitting in the quiet and thinking about nothing is the hardest thing for me to do.
All the thoughts and worries try to rush in at the start and I have to intentionally ignore them.
Then all of a sudden there is quiet and an empty mind. It is a great feeling to empty my mind at the start of the day.
Then each new thought is filling an empty space instead of trying to cram into a full space.
Suddenly there is room for everything.
